I have a very hard time choosing favorites. There are only two things in life I can confidently identify as such, purple is my favorite color and Roman Holiday is my favorite movie. This was a date night outfit in downtown Chicago. This maxi, knit skirt is so flattering and the most gorgeous, rich purple color. I paired it will a vintage satin lingerie top from Frederick’s of Hollywood, a 1960s pair of chocolate brown satin slingbacks, a vintage handbag, and pops of nearly neon yellow in my earrings and blazer. I couldn’t resist adding a little weird whimsical touch with this vintage bug brooch.
